| COQUI FROG RESOURCES |
The Hawaii Island Economic Development Board is working in partnership with the Coqui Frog Working Group to control the invasion of coqui frogs on Hawaii Island. Operating with a grant from the Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR), HIEDB is supporting our community in the fight against coqui frogs through the purchase of sprayers, hydrated lime and citric acid for the Community Sprayer Loan Program and by providing community education. The presence of coqui in Hawaii County is an environmental and economic menace. |
